Prices

Cost of participation consists of a participant fee (depending on the type of accommodation) and an organizational fee.

Participants residing in Cyprus only pay the organizational fee.

Competition Fee for Participation in One Category:

  • Ensemble (more than 8 people): 200 euros

  • Ensemble (4-7 people): 150 euros

  • Trio: 120 euros

  • Duet: 100 euros

  • Soloist: 70 euros

  • Theatrical Collective: 200 euros

Participation in an additional category is with 10% discount. The number of categories is unlimited.​

​Participation fees can be paid in cash or via bank transfer. Our accountant will contact you regarding payment details.

Guests of Cyprus who plan to stay outside the Poseidonia Beach Hotel are required to pay an additional accreditation fee of 15 euros.

Participant fee includes:

  • Accommodation: Stay in hotels with 2-4 person rooms, equipped with amenities. Additional room requests are available upon request

  • Meals: (day 1 – dinner; day 2 – breakfast, dinner; day 3 – breakfast)

  • Transfers to Competition Venues

  • Sightseeing tour of Limassol​

Additional Days: The cost of additional days with meals is available by individual arrangement.

1. Prices are shown without VAT.

2. Our festival movement is not responsible for organizing children's health resort stays. Therefore, the responsibility for the drinking regime lies with group leaders and chaperones. All main services are provided strictly according to the Competition Regulations.

3. Participants arranging their own accommodation or residing in Cyprus must pay an  competition fee.

4. We can arrange transfers to and from airports. Please contact our managers for pricing information.

Discounts

  • Families with multiple children are granted a 10% discount for the second, third, and subsequent children.

  • Every 21st participant of delegation receives free accommodation.

Poseidonia Beach Hotel

Located on the beach of Limassol, Poseidonia Beach Hotel is surrounded by landscaped gardens and offers a pool, restaurant and spa centre. It features air-conditioned units with balcony within a 10-minute walk of Limassol’s tourist area.
 
All bright accommodation types feature a seating area with a flat-screen satellite TV. The private bathroom comes with free toiletries. Some units offer views to the Mediterranean Sea.
 
Guests can enjoy a rejuvenating massage in Poseidonia’s spa area or relax in the sauna and hot tub. Sports and wellness facilities include a tennis court, fitness centre and table tennis.  There is also a playground and plunge pool for younger guests. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for the beach.
 
Poseidonia Beach Hotel serves certified Cypriot breakfast in buffet style. A range of international dishes are available at the restaurant. Light meals and drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. Room service is also possible.
 
Staff at the 24-hour front desk can arrange car rental to explore Ancient Amathounta, 2 km away. Larnaca Airport is within 60 km. The hotel is just 8 km from the Old Port in Limassol’s historic district and offers free private parking.

Participants

The competition welcomes children and youth engaged in creativity in specialized institutions, privately, or independently without a mentor.

Competition performances are organized according to a specific schedule based on age categories, progressing from the youngest to the oldest.

1. Choreography. Soloists, duets, ensembles.

  • classical ballet;

  • folk dance;

  • ballroom dance and Latin dance;

  • street dance (Locking, Popping, Hip-Hop, House, Break-Dance, Crump, Whacking, Vogue, Street Jazz, Dancehall, C-Walk, Electro);

  • modern dance (contemporary, jazz-modern, modern, neo-folk, afro-jazz, afro, disco, classical jazz, neoclassical styles and other);

  • cheerleading, acrobatic dance;

  • kids dance – up to 9 years, without style.

2. Vocal: Soloists, duets, ensembles, and choirs

  • academic singing;

  • jazz singing;

  • folk singing;

  • pop singing, rock and rap;

  • the author's song;

3. Performing Arts: Theatres, reciters, ensembles of reciters.

  • spoken word genre;

  • readers' ensemble;

  • theatrical groups;

4. Instrumental Performance: Soloists, duets, trios, ensembles

  • pop;

  • classical.

Technical Support

Participants present a program consisting of one performance in one category. Participants present one piece with a total duration of no more than 3 minutes. Theatrical groups present a performance lasting up to 30 minutes. For participation with one piece, the full nomination fee is charged.
 

Backing Tracks must be provided in advance. Send them to the competition manager's email and bring a USB flash drive with a high-quality recording of the "minus one" tracks (musical accompaniment without vocals) for the competition sound engineer.
Performers may choose to perform with a live accompanying ensemble instead of using backing tracks.
Each file on the flash drive must be named in the following format: city name/performer's name (group name)/performance title.
Mini-discs, DVDs, phones, other devices connected via Bluetooth, and any other audio formats are NOT accepted.

Harmonic support in the form of backing vocals is allowed, either pre-recorded in the "minus one" track or performed live. The use of double tracking (duplicating the soloist's part as a single harmony) is not permitted.

Expert Evaluation

The jury follows to the criteria when evaluating contestants:
1. Professionalism.
2. Artistic expression: This includes the totality of means and techniques of the performer’s stage behavior, such as the ability to behave freely on stage, move fluidly, the appropriateness of the performance to the content of the song, the level of artistic taste shown in creating costumes and props, originality of performance, and the quality of backing tracks or musical accompaniment.
3. Repertoire Selection: The suitability of the repertoire to the image of the contestant’s, considering age characteristics, appearance, individuality, temperament, and character for creating an image.

  • Grand Prix

  • Laureate (1st, 2nd, 3rd degree)

  • Diploma Holder (1st, 2nd, 3rd degree)
